At 9.01am I rang to get access to a doctor for my young daughter. I was placed automatically on hold for 30 mins. Then cut off at 9.31am. I phoned back to join automated queue then was played a recording to sat that lines were now closed for the day at 9.50am. Shocking system. Terrible care for patients.

Suggested improvements
Telephone system not fit for purpose. Patients left with no access to gp. Children deserve better. How can patients get appointments? I phoned at 9.01 and still was denied access.

Got through at 9.02 as soon as the lines were open. Got cut off at 9.35. Rang again and got cut off at 9.55. Rang enquiries to be told nothing was wrong with the phones and put on hold for appointments and again cut off.

Suggested improvements
Get a better phone system and tell patients what's going on instead of wasting their time sitting on endless hold.

Rang at 9am this morning, put on hold, only for the phone to be cut off at 9.35am. Rang straight back and got told the doctors lines were full at 9.40am!!!! Rang to get through to a general enquiries, from 9.45am till 11.15am I finally got speaking to someone at 11.20am after a few cut offs told be told that I would have to ring back in the morning!! Absolute joke of a practice

Get a better phone system or get more people to answer calls. Get back to normal service now. We all have to live with COVID now

Ballyclare group practice a rang 6times no one would answer a think that clinic should get there act together answers there calls a b honest there worst clinic in ballyclare better off going to vet for treatment dispoint in them worst clinic it not hard lift fone an answer there disgrace that wat think off them?

It took about 100 calls over two days to obtain a GP call-back. He claims to have called back but did not ring my telephone number. Staff extremely unhelpful and arrogant.

Suggested improvements
There is no service culture in this practice. It was very poor before Covid, all the way through Covid and cannot cope with the additional housing in Ballyclare. If there was an alternative I would move tomorrow.
